Regine & Pinoy Pop Superstar

I chanced upon these two Regine Youtubes. She sang the songs beautifully for PinoyPop Superstar that I couldn't resist posting it here. The rendition of Go The Distance is somehow uplifting, inspiring me to start all over again and go the distance.

If there's one single word that describes what I feel now, it should be this song - Runaway. Yesterday was the VBMS Postmortem, I reflected on that and I realized that I cannot right the wrong ones, but the most imporant part of it was it was delivered. On CRM, I'm losing the passion, and I want to drop it all and just runaway. It could be cowardice that I'm feeling now, but I don't find so much sense and fulfillment in what I'm doing...Anyway, Regine did justice to this Corrs song, she didn't belt out.

Speaking of running away, Emi and I had cofee and we talked about the NY trip. Plane tickets are sky rocketing and we're not in good shape to find a cheaper ticket..I would have really loved NY in winter. Anyway, here's another Regine performance, singing Sharon's medley. My eyes are getting watery, my high school memories are flashing back as I listen to her.

OK. I'm a Regine fan, although for a while I've denied it when she all she did was shout and belt it out. But this performance in Sharon was really soulful, and I'm proud to be a fan and kababayan again :) If I'm going to dedicate this song, it will only be to that one person I've always dreamed of loving, naks!
