Twenty One Advises

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully. [Em said] I should try harder!

TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. [Em said] I hope to find that 'only one' and when I do, I'll never let him go !!!

THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. [Em said] Another one of my weak depts!
FOUR. When you say, "I love you," mean it. [Em said] I do.
FIVE. When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye. [Em said] Next time...
SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get marri ed. [Em said] I will!
SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight. [Em said] I did.
EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much. [Em said] Absolutely.

NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely. [Em said] I'm still learning...

TEN. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling. [Em said] Agree!
ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives. [Em said] Am trying...
TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly. [Em said] Got to flex my thinking cap more.
THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?" [Em said] I will from now on.
FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk. [Em said] Sadly, yes.
FIFTEEN. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze. [Em said] Done this today!
SIXTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson . [Em said] I won't.
SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and responsibility for all your actions. [Em said] Yes.
EIGHTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship. [Em said] True friends are hard to find, don't let them slip away.
NINETEEN. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate s teps t o correct it. [Em said] Or else, you'll wake up with a huge pile of regrets.
TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice. [Em said] This I've got to learn.
TWENTY-ONE. Spend some time alone. [Em said] Lately I have.
