Late Merry Christmas~

If I am to put a personal theme on 2006, it would be "Living In Transit". The year has been everything and all travel. I've lived more than half of my life this year either in the the airport, in hotels, buses, cars or in the air. I can't say I didn't love it, in spite being tremendously tired. What better way to cap the year that was than by spending Christmas day and New Year's, guess what - In Transit At The Airport! A late Merry Christmas And Happy Happy New Year To All
Friends are wondering where I'd been all this week. I've been busy geting to know Manila again, craving for that classic banana split at Iceberg where I used to share with my best friends way back College days.
The Taiwan earthquake disrupted most of the Philippines' communication link and I was detached to my once precious work world. Truth is, I was thankful that God gave me the best excuse to unwind and relax and drop everything that is WORK. I gave Flor a phone call and I really miss my Badminton Sis, but we couldn't fit our schedules to meet. Next time. Next time.
I wouldn't miss Jollibee for the world. Jaybee and I took home Jollibee and munch it in the hotel. He's preparing for his Singapore OJT next year. Buboy is doing his OJT at Landbank and doing really good. This is the best Christmas gift I've received. There's nothing more in this world that I would wish for except that my brothers would graduate and have good lives. And Buboy has finally found the right track.
Marla, Sam and I had a Thursday Hardrock night, and for the first time I have seen Nyoy's face. He's really got a nice voice. Most Filipinos are. As usual it's talk talk talk with Marla and Sam, Sam's not happy with his work and I told him that there's nothing wrong with what he feels. It really is tough to find balance between good pay, good job and great officemates.

A mini-reunion for my JP Team. I caught up first with Paulo and Pemil, my new inaanaks! It was time to bond and give out those 'words of wisdom' to them ahahaha. Later that night Blesh, Agdie, Lanye and Marvin followed at Red Box. It was singing, chikahan and catching ups as usual. I also told them that I was resigning.
A few more minutes to spare and I was off dashing to RCBC to have coffee with Jo, Cynch and Sir Mon. Cynch plans to tour with Doc Lito again this coming month. Good luck Cynch and you go and see the world girl! Sir Mon is retiring and finally putting up his own biz.

I feel sad that I didn't have time to see all my friends, all my family members, my dentist, my doctor, my OBGyne, my masseure! I didn't even get the chance to go to BCMI and say hi to everyone. Didn't have the chance to call Tonette and Oggie and Lerma and Candy and Jerome. I guess this is something to save for my next Manila trip. Life has been busy this year and in 12 hours, I'd be flying to New York for the New Year Holiday and to see Suzie, Gerald and their family. I want to have fun and I want to relax. The following year would be tougher, and only God knows where this journey will lead me to next year. But what a journey 2006 has been, and as Lea's song goes 'and the end is not in sight...'. Merry Christmas to all!~ Happy Happy New Year!
