Surf's Up In La Union

Never once in my life have I thought that I would even dare try surfing. For starters, I can't swim. I can't even float. But I guess my Bali Wakeboarding experience topped with the recent stresses in my life have made me a little tougher! I achieved a lot in this La Union Trip with Mel, Lanye, Ranie, Len and Rudy.It's great that I listened to Orson who was urging me to go with and try surfing, instead of spending my weekends in front of the TV and writing about nothing happening in my life with an emphatic PATHETIC...Ahahaha.

I tried surfing and I wasnt afraid, I was surprised that I was able to stand and feel the waves without fear of drowning. Or maybe I trusted my instructor Jeffrey too much. He's a nice young and chatty guy. I also tried a little bit of skim boarding, which I found too challenging. Surfing didnt scratch me, not even a bit, but skim boarding bruised my knees. It was fun to try though.

So, I now live to tell a tale about my experiences in the extreme water sports - Surfing and Open Sea Wakeboarding and Water Rafting adventure in Bali. Life is great. I am one very lucky person to have the friends and resources to experience and enjoy all of these.
