I went to Tokyo Midtown last Friday afternoon to see Dr. Shimada for a second opinion. I didn't realize that the place is so interesting and I regret not bringing along my camera. But I will go back so I'll have another chance! Dr. Shimada re-affirmed what my doctor in St Luke's Mla have told me in September - that I just wait and see, at least for 3 months, to see if my 'female hormonal level' goes down and normalizes. I still plan to take a very long break from work and I will discuss this with our HR Mgr and my boss in the next two weeks.

Jason was a big discovery last Friday. He and I hit it off, and after our usual Friday night badminton and drinks, he invited me, Miho and Mune over to a bar in Ueno. Mune was up for it, if I was too. Two Fridays ago when Ryann dragged us for a drink, I ended up leaving Roponggi Geronimo Bar at around 4am and Saturday, I had a really really terrible headache. But then again, the week hasn't really been exactly a great one so I went along. The bar was neat, and it was a tiny, intimate, local bar. People were saying 'she's very cute!' Of course, they were referring to me! Hahaha. Miho and I ended up crashing at Jason's flat. His was clean, spacious (for Tokyo), and it really smelled nice (c/o the aromatherapy candles). Miho and I got to use his bed while he slept on the couch. He made us coffee in the morning and at about 10.30am we headed back home. Yeah, I again have this tingling, achy, and airy feeling in my head. Thanks to good quality alcohol, my handover was manageable.

Saturday's weather was drizzling hard and cool, bed was so enticing. But this Saturday's afternoon was a 4-hour badminton in Saitama. Jimi-san offered to take me with them in his taxi and I gladly obliged. They picked me up at 4pm, but because of the rain, traffic was so heavy. We arrived in Saitama at about 6pm. From then on, it was badminton all the way til 9pm. I was slightly surprised to see Taka there. Taka is a fellow Nakano Albatross badminton club
(cutest) member. He greeted me with smiles and the more advanced players started playing while the rest (including Taka) went for training. After about an hour, he approached me and said, 'you are so good and so fast!'. He was mesmerized hahaha. From 7pm onwards, it was all game for everyone and we were reduced to 3 courts (from 6). Two high school good players approached our group and asked if anybody wants to play, I (confidently) raised my hand and said 'は~い”. We needed one more, and surprisingly Taka stood up, whispered to me if is it OK for me if he volunteers, I said absolutely! So we paired up, it ended a good game. He really did his best and we had fun playing together. We ended with a 23-21 (2 deuce).

On the way home, it seemed that Jimi-san and Taka had both agreed that everyone from Nakano goes for dinner first. We went to a family restaurant, and there Taka and I exchanged our phone numbers. He was on his way to his friend's house, apparently they're going fishing the following day. I reached home at about 11.30pm and was really tired, I went to bed shortly after. My cellphone's 'you've got mail' sounded and when I checked it was Taka.
I reached my friend's home safely. Looking forward to seeing you again. I was really sleepy but I laughed out hard, the text message sounded like a boyfriend texting his gf that he's OK and there's no need to worry. Ahahaha.

Sunday morning I had to wake up at 9pm for two reasons: My Nikkei online trading password mail will be delivered and it was Red Sox vs Rockies Game 3. I wa struggling to stay awake but the game was pretty intense. At around 10.30 the mail came and I checked my account and changed my password. 11.30am I had another text message from Taka.
Subject: 天気いいね (Weather's nice).
My muscles however arealready burning, last night's badminton really sored me. Next time I think I need to ask you for an english badminton lesson.
It felt so funny because I for a while felt like high school again flirting with someone over text messages hahaha. To keep the suspense level, I responded with a 'Hahaha, and two smiley's'.
I was in no mood to go out and so I just ordered pizza. Unlike before, I went for 1 slice only. I'm not gonna pig out again. Those days are over, sister! Realizing that I have not much time, I started to plan my week's wardrobe.
Monday has to be something a little bit more professional but gorgeous because I have English dinner with Tokie and her friend.
Tuesday havent been decided yet but it may be a Nakano badminton, so I chose something sporty.
Wednesday was kind of hard to prepare because I promised Jason that I'd go to Halloween party with him. But I ended up with one of those high school uniform(with a little bit more professional look to it) that you often see on anime. Ultra mini-skirts and knee high socks.
Thursday, I am still free but who knows an invite may as well come along. I think I need to go out with Shibuta-san. Which reminds me that I need to call him back today.
Friday is World Volley Opening. I still haven't got the ticket and that is also one thing that I have to do today.
Saturday is badminton day again in Tamachi...so you get the picture! hahaha.
Red Sox won Game 3 and I was elated. And between 1pm until 8pm, I devoted my time to cleaning up, ironing, laundry, and grocery. Grocery turned out to be a really really big blooper. When I was about to pay, I discovered that I forgot my wallet! You can imagine how embarrassing that is hahaha.
