Mini-Reunion

I prefer to call this post as mini-reunion just because the 'Berks' got together for dinner, coffee, bibingka and National Treasure!

After about two weeks, I went back home to Manila to catch Doc because he's moving to US and I needed his professional help.

Our mini-reunion cum farewell party was really a last-minute, unplanned one. But we Pinoys are known for this anyway hehe. So, we gathered together at Masas, a Filipino restaurant at G3 (tips for Pinoy balikbayans: bring your friends here for good food and oh so yummy (and strong) Gin Pom for a fairly resonable prize!).

Then we went to Via Mare in Greenbelt 1 for coffee and bibingka. The good thing about being the 'Berk' to live abroad is I get to bully my friends to food that fancies me, hehehe. This time it was Doc's turn to treat.

I'm a huge fan of Nic Cage's National Treasure and Norla was also very determined to watch it, so there we were, running back to Glorietta to catch the movie. We did make it, and I had a really good time, I was laughing all the time. The Book of Secrets has more action and less historical stuffs, but for a follow-up movie, I rate it meets expectations.
