2008 Golden Week Holiday Tour

Car tripping during the golden week is probably not the best option for a relaxing tour, well, at leat for the driver. But our nature & hot spring adventure this year proved to be worth the effort.

Our group went to a local tourist destination in Yamanashi prefecture to enjoy a little bit of trekking, huge rock formation and for most of us, a delicious treat of soba. I managed to buy myself a crystal bracelet for souvenir with a whooping 30% discount c/o Jimy-san! The beginning of May is not fruit season but we anyway went to Fruits Farm for coffee, and souvenir shopping, and right after that sank ourselves into a warm & engaging outdoor pools of Hottarakashi Onsen (ほったらかし温泉). Japan has many off the beaten track to offer, but sometimes, you just have to have the right information c/o the locals to really enjoy what Mother Nature has blessed this land of the rising sun.
