A Suffering Friend

I reserve the happier posts of my homecoming and my mischievous adventures of late to post a small message of sadness and hopefully at the end of my post I muster a great action plan that would help my friend and college buddy Tere.

First of all here's here blog, I don't want to pretend that I've kept myself updated thru her journeys and struggles all these years with cancer, but I hope that my small audience take time to read her blog and find out for themselves a heck of a life's journey Tere is going through. I've written my admiration for her strength and optimism a few year's back, but as I got the mail from Marg regarding her latest fight, I feel that her spirit has slowly dampen. I'd like to help. I hope to meet Marg before I go back home on Saturday to make a financial pledge. Sure, we all pray for her recovery soon, but the fact of the matter is that Tere needs financial support the most now! I know I can cut through some of my petty and b#lls@#t vanity in lieu of a pledge.

For the rest of us, I sincerely ask for your prayers. You may probably not know Tere, and I probably don't know her that much, aside from the fact that she is an honest, honorable and a true trouper at heart. Hang in there buddy. And you too Richard. So friends, and whoever else visits my blog, please let us offer a sincere and silent prayer to Tere.
