Ending 2008 WIth A Blast!

2008 holds a distinctly personal meaning in my life's journey. A year full of goodbyes, heartaches, and health problems. A year of learning and rediscovering what I truly value. The year of possibilities that I never imagined could still come true.

...with my new job.

...with the financial blessings.

...with improved health

...with a better outlook (and a positive attitude) at what life throws at me.
I had quite a number of firsts....

- sabbatical.

- first scuba dive

- first travel with T.

- a full 3-month coffee-free tummy.

- orthodontic braces

- American Rockies roadtrip

- first Christmas and New Year celeb with T.

- and Canada...

So, what brought me to Canada???

The irresistable urge to snowboard in Whistler!

The warm accommodation of Emani, Joeru and family.

The possibility of a busy 2009.

And in Vancouver I ended 2008 with fun, and a remembrance of the values of family and friends sticking together...

In Vancouver I greeted 2009 with hope and a fresher outlook, and a dream of returning there in spring...

As I officially bring the last chapter of my 2008 journey to an end, my heart fills with everlasting gratitude to God Almighty, and a wish for everyone that the coming year brings forth peace and love in all of us.
