Good wine finds

It is necessary to shop smart in this tough economic times. One doesn't need to give up lifestyle just because prices spike up, remember there are alternative and creative journeys to our destination. Plus it's fun to window shop and bring something back home that you'd sweat and bargain for. The sound of sweet success.

I found this good and cheap Spanish table wine at Seiyu supermarket priced at 480 yen per bottle. I wasn't even expecting anything special for 480 but I'm a big fan of Spanish wine so I decided that if it doesn't suit my taste I can always use it for cooking. Poured myself a glass to drink while polishing my nails (YES?!) and to my delight it tasted really good, that the 480 spanish wine can pass for a house wine at any decent restaurant.

Another good find last night was Jacob's Creek at 1180 yen. Not that cheap but it comes with a very bright and cute little red tote bag which you can use as lunch bag maybe and in my case I've been dying to have one to use for my yoga towellete and pet bottle. Yep, won't it make a bold statement that I'm a wine drinker and I do Yoga! I'll never buy tiny tote bags per se, and even if I do, it'll probably cost me about 500-1000 yen (or even more), so Jacob's Creek was another good find. Caution: only because I need a tote! Then again Jacob's Creek is not bad per se. I think I might have even visited the vineyard in Napa once.
