The Volcanic Eruption in Iceland

The Iceland volcanic eruption stirred chaos all over Europe and affecting many parts of the world because it forced major airports in Europe to close. A friend of mine is stranded somewhere in Switzerland, another one uncertain if he will be able to fly to London on Wednesday and another friend has to wait until flights resume so she can go home back to Romania. Kamilla posted in her blog that they had to go back to Denmark from Poland by bus after the European badminton championships. While a lot of us don't probably realized how difficult it is there and we go about our daily businesses, I start to really appreciate the little things each day bring. Yesterday, a big 'me time' in my bed finishing the Lost Guide To Love And Life novel(book review soon). I haven't done that in a long time. I took my time to do the laundry, and iron some clothes and clean up a little. And then a thought ran through my mind - that I don't need to get everything done perfectly today. I need to find the right balance so I can do what I love to most. I ended up in a nice warm bath and my home made facial of honey and some secret stuff that apparently Cleopatra used as her facial regimen. I'm happy that today my face seems to radiate and glow.
Today is not such a Manic Monday and I'm so glad the good Lord has provided sunshine.
Going back to the flights in Europe, I hope the sky clears up so that everybody can resume their usual businesses.
