Dragon Boat Race

I joined the Yokohama China town leg of the dragon boat race and it was so much fun. I incidentally went with a group of extremely competitive people whom I met for the first time around. The team was organized by Tokyo Gaijins and we were there for some fun and experience. Although the weather was bad, it didn't ruin the fun and experience we had. Again I have learned something about myself and other people.
You will reach your destination if your motivations are the same - that is to reach the same goal. It doesnt matter how different or similar you are.
No man is an island.
It takes leadership to be able to accomplish things.
In times of adversity, it is better to enjoy the moment, get your head together and then move together.
We each have our own different timing, but the most important thing is if you lose it, follow the person in front of you and somehow, you'll get the rhythm back..and never stick your paddle in the water, it hinders everybody else.
And where ever life throws you, be sure to bring home a piece of it - whether it be a stupid and yet funny memory, a calling card of a potential friend or just a mindset that we can be better together if we just open up our minds and hearts.
