What separates the strong from the weak is not that the strong never lose, nor that they never make a mistake. When the strong loses, he is not ashamed to grieve, to take time off and he realizes his weaknesses and act on it in order to win the next battles of life. When the strong makes a mistake, he accepts it, and move on while holding on to the lesson to make sure that he doesn't make the same mistake again.
I made a mistake in the office which caused me to bow down and apologize to all the bosses last week. This week some one else made a bigger mistake which eventually made our CEO provide an official statement. First, I realized that mourning over a mistake doesn't really help much, somewhere out there, some one else is making one, and even so, the world doesn't stop spinning. What matters is we go on, face it head on. Second, I also realized that really, with great powers come great responsibility. In the end, the one with the highest authority will eventually take ownership of every success and every failure.
