I got so tired of the Sunday tournament that I skipped my plan to have ramen nearby my home in Nerima. On Saturday I'll be moving on to a new place and I was thinking of paying tribute to my home of almost 3 years by going to places I (and T) used to frequent for the last time as a local customer. But the fatigue was just so overwhelming and I couldn't fight it. I managed to got out of the office at 6 on the dot, went to pick up dry cleaning and instead of going to the ramen house, I bought sushi for take out. Got home, changed and devoured the sushi. I didn't realize I fell asleep on the couch. Woke up at about 10pm and I literally dragged myself to do the laundry and do a bit more packing.
So as it turned out, my Monday night was uneventful. But then again, what better way to honor the memory of my Nerima home than to tuck myself in comfortably in the warmth and shelter of my home. Monday in Nerima used to be a day when I cook and T usually comes home early. It later became gym night just to keep my mind occupied. I'd like to remember Monday as a day of quiet anticipation of what the week is going to be.
I picked up the dry cleaning.
I had sushi for take out.
Did my laundry.
And said goodbye to Monday in my Nerima home.
