For starters, T did a good job in finding good spots to go and he divided the tour into 2. One in the morning, which he called appetizer. The cave was nice to look at with interesting mineral formations. There were God-like figures, eerie ghost-like figures as well. We actually felt we were in the set of Indiana jones. This cave was very easy to traverse, with stairs and proper lighting and high ceilings, it was nice to look at but for someone who takes spelunking for a serious hobby (such as me), it was a no-brainer.

But out of nowhere T hugged me from behind, held my hand and said 'isn't this nice?'. I really appreciated his efforts and said yes, it was indeed nice. I was silently laughing thinking, OK OK, don't ruin the moment. I was happy though that everyone seems to be enjoying the view. The day was really hot and the sun was blazing hot, so everybody decided to have lavander-flavored soft cream. Yuko made me taste the ice cream and even though I love the smell and soothing effects of lavander, it just tasted too weird - as if you're munching the flower itself.

T bought me a souvenir (my next post) and we then went to a Soba restaurant for lunch. After that we stopped by a supermarket to buy gloves, slippers, flashlights and batteries. And then came the 'main course'. The trek was supposed to be 3 hours back and forth. It was divided into 3 courses (A - easy, B- medium C-advanced/difficult).
We chose C and we went off with only 6 little flashlights. The water was too cold and I felt the burning sensation in my feet. T made us fall in a single line alternating boy & girl. He was behind me. I'm an experienced spelunker but most of our friends are first-timers so we progressed really slow. It was funny to hear sighs, shrieks, screems, yahoos! and laughter from everyone.

The course proved to be very challenging for its very irregular holes and very cold waters. We finally completed the trek after around 4 hours and even though people are exhausted, everybody enjoyed the experience. I'm very glad. We decided to skip dinner and go home, alternating seats. This gave me an opportunity to sit in the passenger seat of T's 2nd cousin. When I got back to T's car, he asked me quite a bit about the time I spent with his 2nd cousin. But I just smiled and politely said..secret~ (because T reads my posts from time to time, I wont mention anything more ;) )
