I had lunch with Sonoka, Yuka and Mika yesterday. Since Starbucks was pretty crowded, we sat at the flower boxes outside and did our usual girlie chats. I love lunch outs because for once I get to chat about usual stuffs and I can stay away from the pressures of work, even for a while. The day's weather was fine at 20 degrees unlike the previous days where it's been really cold. After lunch, we split up and my planned destination was straight to Books Kinokuniya and then to HMV. On my way back I noticed that the Times Square crew are busy doing construction work. I looked closer and then I realized that they're laying out the annual Christmas Lights Displays. Geez, Christmas is getting near and I didn't even notice Spring and Summer this year. I strolled back at the Time Square bridge and decided to sit down for a while and start reading Pretty Woman, a novel I just bought. The cool air felt really good. I got occasionally distracted by Korean grannies taking souvenir pictures of the giant pine trees behind me. A couple of hours more and I started shivering - a signal that I had enough of the cool autumn breeze.
