I was able to persuade Jeff to go snowboarding.....It has not been since a couple of weeks ago that I went with Sonoka, Aki and Kura (it feels like ages ago!). So I didn't stop until Jeff said yes to a Sunday snowboarding - which turned out not a very good idea. I started with the same level I was two weeks ago and I was able to slowly start those turns. Until, Jeff made fun of me and cut me off. We collided against each other and his board hit my left knee. It really felt painful and it was all it takes to ruin my composure. I almost want to quit snowboarding.

Until I saw this little girl who is really very good and is very supportive of her sister. She and her sister have been fans of skiing and they just love playing on the white snowflakes. I wish I'm as brave as they are...I wish that I enjoy the snow once more, and not grimace in pain.
Jeff wanted to scout the Prince Hotel Outlet shop so we agreed to just meet at the station. Unluckily for me, the earlier bullet trains are crowded and even though it was against my will to stand all the way back to Tokyo, my urge to go home and sink in bed was even stronger. So off we went back to Tokyo, 2 hours earlier than our train schedule.

I finally figure out that this was not my day! I had tons of clean laundry to iron, a tiny condo to clean and bruised knees. I didn't realize that my bruises are really that bad.
So...here I am today bruised, broken-hearted because I wasn't able to fully enjoy the snow and tired from the day's travel.
Ahh. Tomorrow is another day.
