The Fuss About Krispy Kreme

This dounut shop opened in Shinjuku days before Christmas last year and Krispy Kreme was a smash! I've had Krispy Kreme in the US before and it tasted just like any ordinary dounuts. But seeing the line keeps getting longer and longer each day in spite of the cold winter breeze, I can't help but crave for it too.

Knowing that Krispy Kreme is present in Manila, I didn't pass out the opportunity to have a bite with my friends after our sumptous dinner at Guava in Serembra, Fort. Well, most of them contented themselves with the freebies, but I just have to have the New York Cheesecake hehehe.

All in all the experience was worth it, especially because I acted as a tourist, with all these photos of me and Krispy Kreme to brag to my Japanese friends. But apart from the icing and the airy dough, I am very happy to have spent the Valentine's with my forever friends. I am even happier that they let did not let my 'foolish' and 'petty craving for Krispy Kreme' ruin the day. Instead they are most happy to have a bite of the freebie and take pictures of me !
