Transformers

I grew up with Transformers and while the rest of my generation have probably watched and enjoyed the movie, I was lazily spending my weekends in bed.

So, finally my guilt got the better of me, plus I figured that a little exercise can do my body good, and off I went to Roppongi Hills to watch Transformers. The only available seat was A2, the leftmost row nearest the screen. I took it because I couldnt bear the thought of waiting for another 3 hours, and it wasn't even the best seat.

I killed my 40 minutes wait time at Zara which was offering it's Autumn Sale. Yup,summer has just began and we're thinking Fall already. I had 2 good tops on Sale, a Mint Green cotton flowery blouse, which I bought because I thought they are really relaxing to look at and cool, and I bought a red flannel sleeveless blouse. Considering my weight and my shape, particularly the belly, the tops I bought, unlike my previous taste, were loose and really comfortable to move in.

Anyway, back to Transformers. I thought it was a very interesting movie, and never a dull moment. I watched the movie that hold sentimental memories in my heart that is why even though I was in a very uncomfortable seat, I enjoyed the full length of it. The names, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumble Bee, Autobots, Decepticons, I was in my early elementary days then I'm sure. The Transformer story is the same as before, good versus evil, Autobots battling the evil Decipticons for the good of mankind. Optimus Prime standing up for humankind, for the innocents. The storyline is simple but I think it is also universal, something that will always be there, will always revolve, will always spin our worlds around.

My fave's still Bumblebee, pretty cool and dedicated, young and vigorous! Bumblebee is the movie's darling, actually and I think he's really the star (no offense to Optimus Prime). He's your knight in shinig armor in the movie, the very same one I dream of in my life hehehe.

Making movies nowadays are really serious business and everything's state of the art. I ended up imagining myself as part of the movie staff and crew and smiling proudly at my accomplishment - bringing into life The Transformers, and bringing back some good old childhood memories...
