When I first started Girl's Night, I was thinking about my girl friends (a.k.a. My Evil Step Sis!) back in Manila whom I really really miss -for their support, for the girlie talks and for just being them. And now, as we marked the 6th time (yeah, half a year!) I am in awe and in jubillee that this monthly thing has grown into something my closest girl friends look forward to.

We have developed a policy of rotating organizer, and everybody's OK with that. Every month, a newcomer comes in, and I hope they stay! This week, I welcome Hirota-san. She gushed...'you are all very cute!'. Ahahaha, of course?! We are all cute, smart and warm, because we are girl friends!

And it also seems that we have identified our unofficial Girls Night hangout - where else but Yamachan - cheap & yummy!

For a mere 2,500 yen, we get in return, camaraderie that no man will ever experience and understand, and a sense of loyalty and pride in each other's company. And aside from good food, good company, and mugs and mugs of beers, most of all, we get reassured that even though sometimes things don't work out well at work or in private lives, we have a support group who at the least would do what they can to put a smile in our faces..
