Fujiu Cup..What is it? It was one of those silly moments where you all agree to bet on sports you all think you excel. We chose badminton.
Masaya bet against Yasuo, with a whooping handicap of 19 points. Masaya only needed 2 points to win or 1 successful jumping smash. He did win.
I bet for an 18 points handicap, and a successful jumping smash. He won over me, and I lost to my own misses. All through out dinner, Masaya kept bragging about his 'greatness' and he even told the waitress. He was forcing us to say the word 'wan', Wan Glass of Wine, Wan Pizza, Wan Pasta..
Through both me & Yasuo's shock, he won both sets! And he was so happy and proud about it! He started to call us 'Wan! Wan!' (負け犬)Losers! Masaya claims it was his first badminton game since becoming an adult. His fond memory of badminton was with his sister when they were children at their backyard. Can you imagine that?!
I dread Monday because he plans to announce his 'feat' about his super thunder great smash and his win. And among the three of us, he ranks #1 in the world. I'm sure its gonna be a very noisy Monday. I look forward to the fun but I honestly can't believe that I lost.
