T. took me to a very interesting ramen house. Interesting for several reasons - a. you'll know the restaurant is open when the humongus bone hangs at the door(probably luring 負け犬 like me!) b. it's a really small and cozy one line counter which can accommodate 8 customers at a time, and only 1 ramen chef to serve everyone. c. the servings are exactly my stomach' size and they are yummy! Then after our ramen dinner, he dropped by Moss Burger because I've been dying for it the whole week.

I guess he felt guilty not being able to tend to me while I felt strangely sick last Thursday during the badminton. He just got to a hazzard parking while I hopped out of the car and ordered take out. The figurines were really cute and I couldn't resist taking pictures!

This was just a start of a really full weekend. Mune texted me and told me he wanted to know if I'm interested in the CISCO positions. During our Tamachi badminton sessions, which in itself offered very interesting story to write, he also talked to Praveen, who promised me that he'll find out if there's any job opening in his company. The past week my spirit's been dampened because I havent got any good results, but these buddies are willing to stick their tongue out for me and help me get a job.

Now back at badminton, Serg is an interesting Russian who only plays with good players, and he would always pick me up. I feel gratified but at the same time ashamed, because of me someone else gets bumped out. 2 solid hours of badminton was really worth it, but I had to dash to Osaki for an occular of the place, I promised T I'd do that so we can have a closed target for our house-hunting. It's a fab place, unfortunately it turns out the rent is also super rediculous high! Again, I wanted to stick around but I had a 3.30pm spa appointment at Ropongi! Rushing through, without having anything to eat was a feat I didn't really enjoy but I managed to sleep through the entire spa treatment, it was so relaxing...But not today, because immediately after that I had to run to another place, Komazawa Daigaku, for another round of badminton. Since I want to meet new people, play good badminton and enhance my network, I accepted this invite from my friend. On the way, I chanced upon the German/Turkish fellow who also attended this morning's badminton. What a coincidence. We both went to the school gym and enjoyed a gruelling, hard, 3 full-fun hours of badminton. Afterwards, the club went out to dine and drink. It was really fun...I got home at around 1am, was really exhausted, I immediately went to bed. Good thing T cancelled Sunday morning visit to the house rental company and instead asked me to join him and his friend Sunday night. So I got up at around 11am, did my laundry, cooked my lunch and then ate it, drowsed off a little bit, ironed my clothes for the week and cleaned my house. Before I know it, its already 5pm and I had little chance to prepare for the night out with T and his friend. I finally had some food & drinks with them, then we went for table tennis, where we had a 1,000 yen bet. T won both over me and his friend. We then went neo bowling, which was also fun because of the disco ambiance. T & I bid goodbye to his friend at about 10pm. Quite a long and busy weekend, huh?!
