The Long Drive To Marlboro Country Montana!

A gruelling 11 hours (plus the 1 hour difference between PT and MT) with stories on the road and through rest areas.

Adventures of getting lost in barren lands, knocking at farm houses, and meeting 3 cute teenagers who helped us find our way, and our gas back!

And we almost lost gas again! Luckily,we were pointed in the direction of the nearest pump, which was luckily still open because luckily, the owner was busy chatting with a customer. We were warn of deers passing by and were instructed to run over the animals in case they show up - for our own sakes! Luckily, the deers had a no-show today.

We finally found our way to Kalispell, Montana. We slept a whole 12 hours afterwards!

Geez, this roadtrip has already offered experiences of a lifetime.

Tips to Roadtrippers

1. Do the math! Compute your miles traveled vs gas consumed.
2. Don't panic! If you feel you are running out of gas, TURN OUT! and use your GPS?!
3. Yes, GPS is a saviour and must!
4. Be prepared. Be brave. Don't forget to ask. But be cautious too.
5. Check the weather forecasts! Your planned mileage and arrival time may vary depending on weather and road conditions. It is sometimes wise to spend a few extra dollars on a motel rather than face a raging (snow) storm and risk your lives.
