Busy Weekend

I covered Japan Yonex Open semifinals match last Saturday. Unlike last year, I was more confident this year. I also stopped second-guessing myself. I guess only experience will make you better.
***
After the games, I had a quick dinner and a couple of drinks with Alfred & Irene at Angkor Wat restaurant in Yoyogi. We had a quick catch-up and I needed to hurry back home because my girl friends and I are off to Toshimaen onsen that will end with them sleeping over at my place.
***
Toshimaen onsen is still cool. I can spend a whole day in spas like these. We stayed until 11pm and then walked over back home stopping at Natural Lawson to buy some snacks.
***
Around midnight, we were finally in the comfort of my home and we decided to drink up a bit, do our girls talk and retired to bed at around 1:30am.
***
I got up at around 8:30am and prepared our hotcake breakfast. We did a bit of Core Rhythms exercise while trying to figure out the menu for our afternoon home party. I went to have a quick shower and the rest of the girls readied themselves because we needed to pick up one friend and go shopping for our afternoon party.
***
We prepared tacos and then it was followed by a sushi party. As usual there were lots of alcohol and chatting, with our friend napping out. Another friend came and then another and then another. We missed only 1 guy friend who (apparently) has been very disappointed because the girl he likes seems least interested in him.
***
The party ended at around 7:30pm. I was too tired and probably too drunk, I didn't realize I fell as sleep. I woke up at around 10:30pm with a splitting headache (hangover) and ended up tossing and turning, not even hoping to get a couple of hour's sleep.
***
In all of these, I greeted HB a happy birthday yesterday. I think this is officially our first interaction after 3 years. He replied back to me that he too wishes me to be happy. I have been missing him all this time but I'm way passed the dreaming stage and I know that it'll take more than a miracle to bring back what we had, because of the complications of the past.
***
Today I will skip my yoga class and instead try to tuck myself as early as possible in bed. I'm really sleepy and really tired and I don't want to think much about HB. I have a streak of social gatherings in the week ahead and I want to conserve my energy to be as cheerful and happy with important people in my life now.
