One of my two major initiatives this year is just been accomplished. I'm happy that BR will finally be supporting iphone and of course the internal enhancements we did with our mobile mail membership, hopefully, will be appealing to our members.
As I was walking from the train station on my way to the office, I suddenly realized that the I've successfully followed the first 2 of my 3-year strategic plan. Last year would be the last and next year's certainly be another challenging year and I need to wrap up the detailed plans for next year as early as now. My intention, of course, as always, is to succeed.
But two things also dawned on me
1) even though I know that I need to come up with another 3-year plan, I am fully aware that to accomplish the goals, I need to be focused all the way to the finish line of my 1st 3-year strategy.
and
2) I'm not as hyped up as I used to be in the face of professional success. More than a very successful job, I want to be a Mom. I want to go home to a kid who will tickle my toes and demand my attention. I want to go to a husband who will not just be proud of me but would also sometimes demand my attention and care. I want to have a family. And I'm now sure that I'm absolutely ready for it....Finally.
