I need to eliminate essentially 5 main issues in my system. I'm going to make it my mission possible to do it one by one. As a matter of fact, I'm going to make a countdown. It all boils down to OPERATION IMPROVEMENT...let's focus on efficiency later.
1st step - quick fix. Close all those that can be fixed A-S-A-P!
2nd step - penalize faults. we're talking contractual obligations here. no time to be forgiving.
3rd step - speed things up! stop this ongoing lousiness
4th step - efficiency
5th step - consistency.
Tough job. Tough job. But then again, I'm being paid to be responsible for all of these. I'm thankful for the dedicated staff I have. And I'm determined to cross these all out within the remaining 2 months of this year.
So...off I am to #1.
