Do It Yourself

I was not a fan of Do-It-Yourself store in the Manila just because I didn't think I need to. But living alone in Japan where household help is too expensive, I am now learning to Do-It-Myself. I bought a tuner and antenna yesterday because I wanted to subscribe to Sky Perfect cable TV. Yes, here you have to purchase your own antenna dish and IC card before you can apply for cable TV. In Manila where you just fill up a form and viola~ they do everything for you. I had to sweat myself out to maintain my own house here and avail of the extra things that I want, such as cable TV. I now feel that my weekends are not enough, even just for my household chores.

My immediate goals are to get my own house and my own car. I am now willing to move away from Shinjuku. It is time to grow up and think about the things that really matter more...more than just hanging around and wasting the day and money away for nothing. My brother is graduating this semester and the other one will be in his senior year. Ahh...what good feeling.
