It seemed Landmark ran out of dried mango. I wasn't able to buy my Jap friends dried mango for sourvenir from my summer vacation. I however bought one pack from the NAIA Airport. It was soooo expensive! P190!!! Poor me was only able to buy one pack. And then the dilemma came afterwards...Who would I give this dried mango to? I had 5 candidates. I bought Master A mango jam so that eliminated him easily from the list. Chibi Nohara and Coach were the next in lines, but then I've always given them something from Manila and they were specifically asking for FRESH (not DRIED) mango, which of course is next to impossible, unless I'm willing to pay for whatever customs will impose on me. So I said, hmm...maybe some other time. Then my newfound drinking and party buddy Ms Maki. I also brought her a banana catsup and that basically lightens the burden and I also crossed her out of my list. And then finally, my new Ate from badminton Keiko. She's my newest buddy and she absolutely loved dried mango, and so I decided to give it to her. I am also friends with her hubby Jimi-san, and just right now, he texted me (in Japanese of course) 'Its the first I've ever eaten dried mango, and I didn't think it was this good! Yummy!'. There you go, my dried mango went a long way and satisfied grateful stomachs! Hahahah!
