Punctuality

I believe punctuality is one of the very core essentials of professionalism. It does not only demonstrate one's value for the use of his time, but it also is one of the highest expression of respecting others. Sadly, most people forget this word anymore, and even more sadly is that a number of people don't even know the word anymore.

Being on time is one thing, and being able to reschedule or cancel a meeting or any activity ahead of time is another. Ahead of time...This is an interesting argument. Some people cancel minutes before, for reasons varying from the most lame through the unpredictable forces of nature. But if we can help it, I really do hope that we cancel, hopefully a day or two in advance at the least. In this way, we give the other person time to switch errands, to make better use of their vacated times.

Call me hypocrite but I really do hope that people respect time - his own and others, because if we don't we risk wasting the little details of our wonderful journey here on earth.
