Takashimaya department store has an employee cafeteria

It make sense but still I haven't really thought about department stores having a common employee /merchant cafeteria. I had to come early to our Baby store inside Takashimaya and because the department store hasn't opened yet, I had to enter through the employees entrance. I reached the 9th floor narrow corridor and tried to find my way. I stumbled into the cafeteria. I also saw the lockers assigned to employees, I can guess those lockers hold their personal belongings and their uniforms...? I found myself thinking that even though sales staffs work for different companies, they have a place inside the building, tucked away from the consuming public where they can socialize and possibly meet other people. Kind of cool.
